As news slows of Russian oligarchs having their yachts seized over the Russian invasion of Ukraine. A lot of people wonder if this could just be done to Billionaires (Oligarchs) around the world generally. Most people do not feel that billionaires deserve their super yachts. Billionaires are understood to control the world’s governments, corrupting them in order to maintain and increase their power and wealth. A lot of people do not like that.
The Russian Oligarchs are being punished as part of an economic war against Russia. The thinking of many would be that billionaires should be punished in response to the class war they are waging against everyone.
